Honest Review of this movie

This movie is a visual performance. I was effectively moved by the animation and character design. I was astonished by the film's opening strategy, but it was fascinating to see. Several of the gags were in the trailers, but many more surprised me in the theatre. Miguel even had a few humorous incidents. I have to confess that the inclusion of spider characters from previous films and other media seemed a little off. It is compensated for, though, by how outstanding this movie was. It was insightful, sophisticated, and artistic. I was stunned by the cliffhanger it left the spectator with. Thought I had watched the movie for an hour, but it was already over. I beg everyone who is on the fence about seeing this movie to do so. The very greatest movie I've seen in a very long time, and the best movie to see in a theatre. a genuine work of art.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Storyline/Plot

The film begins with Miles Morales, who has been Spider-Man for two years, receiving a call from Gwen Stacy, who is Spider-Woman from another dimension. She tells him that she needs his help and opens a portal to his universe. Miles is reluctant to leave his family and friends, but decides to join Gwen on her mission.

They arrive in a futuristic version of New York City, where they meet Miguel O’Hara, who is Spider-Man 2099. He explains that he is the leader of the Spider-Society, a team of Spider-People from different universes who protect the multiverse from threats. He introduces them to Jessica Drew, who is Spider-Woman from Earth-1610; Pavitr Prabhakar, who is Spider-Man from Earth-833; Hobie Brown, who is Spider-Punk from Earth-138; and Margo Kess, who is Spider-Byte from Earth-TRN707.

Miguel reveals that they are facing a new enemy called the Spot, who is a former scientist named Jonathan Ohnn. He was experimenting with interdimensional portals when he accidentally fused his body with them, giving him the ability to create and manipulate black holes. He became obsessed with exploring the multiverse and stealing its resources, causing chaos and destruction in his wake. He also kidnapped Ben Reilly, who is a clone of Peter Parker from Earth-94, and used his DNA to create an army of Spots.

The Spider-Society has been tracking the Spot’s movements and trying to stop him, but they need Miles’ help because he has a unique connection to the multiverse. Miles agrees to help them, but he also wants to see more of the different universes and learn from other Spider-People. Gwen supports him, but Miguel warns him that they have to be careful not to disrupt the balance of the multiverse.

The film follows their adventures across six different universes: Earth-65, where Gwen is from; Earth-67, where they meet an older Peter Parker who is still Spider-Man; Earth-90214, where they encounter a noir version of Spider-Man; Earth-8311, where they find a world populated by anthropomorphic animals and meet Peter Porker, who is Spider-Ham; Earth-TRN579, where they visit a video game-inspired reality and team up with Peni Parker, who is SP//dr; and Earth-TRN701, where they face a post-apocalyptic scenario and befriend Mayday Parker, who is Spider-Girl.

Along the way, they also encounter other villains such as Doctor Octopus, Kraven the Hunter, Venom, Green Goblin, Scorpion, Electro, Mysterio, Vulture, Sandman and Kingpin. They also have some fun moments such as swinging through the city, fighting crime, eating pizza, watching movies and playing games. They also develop friendships and romances with each other, especially Miles and Gwen.

However, their journey is not without consequences. They discover that the Spot has been following them and using their portals to invade more universes. They also realize that their actions have caused some changes in the multiverse that could have dire implications. For example, they accidentally create a new universe where Peter Parker never became Spider-Man and instead married Mary Jane Watson and had a son named Ben Parker.

They decide to confront the Spot once and for all in his lair on Earth-616, which is the main Marvel universe. There, they find Ben Reilly tortured and mutated by the Spot’s experiments. They free him and join forces with him to fight the Spot and his army. They manage to defeat him and close all his portals, but not without sacrifices. Some of the Spider-People are injured or killed in the battle, while others decide to stay in different universes or return to their own.

The film ends with Miles and Gwen returning to their respective universes. They share a kiss and promise to keep in touch. Miles reflects on his experience and realizes that he has grown as a person and as a hero. He also learns that he has inspired others to become heroes as well. He sees that there are many versions of Spider-Man across the multiverse, but they all share the same spirit and responsibility. He swings away with a smile on his face.
